Contracts Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Clients <b>Supply Chain Management</b> team as a <b>Contracts Coordinator</b>. You will join a leading Oil & Gas Operator  and play a key part in optimising supplier relationships and ensuring efficient contract administration, directly contributing to the company's success.<br><br> <b>Reporting to the Contracts Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:</b><br> Administering and updating contract records, ensuring accurate documentation of amendments and changes.<br> Providing guidance to internal stakeholders on contracting processes and company policies.<br> Assisting in the preparation and management of procurement documents, including RFIs and RFPs.<br> Collaborating with stakeholders during contract drafting to ensure clarity and alignment with business objectives.<br> Supporting proposal evaluations by ensuring a fair and consistent review process.<br> Coordinating negotiations to secure favourable terms, under the guidance of senior team members.<br> Preparing recommendations for contract awards, ensuring necessary approvals and documentation are in place.<br> Inputting and maintaining contract data in <b>SAP</b>.<br> Assisting in the resolution of commercial or contractual issues.<br> Drafting and issuing standard contract-related correspondence.<br> Working closely with the <b>Finance Department</b> to support cost control and contract compliance.<br> Acting as the primary point of contact for contract queries and lifecycle support.<br><br> <b>Key Requirements:</b><br>A <b>legal backround</b> including reviewing contracts<br>Knowledge of <b>supply chain</b> or <b>contract management</b> processes.<br> Proven experience in a similar role.<br> Strong <b>business and commercial acumen</b>.<br> Experience in <b>negotiating</b> commercial terms (buyer or seller roles).<br> Understanding of <b>key contract principles</b>.<br> Proficiency in <b>Microsoft Word, Excel</b>, and other IT tools.<br> A <b>team player</b> with the ability to work effectively across disciplines in a dynamic environment.<br> <b>Proactive and results-driven</b>, with a high level of self-initiative and integrity.<br> Excellent <b>written and verbal communication skills</b>, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.<br> Commitment to <b>continuous improvement</b>.
