MECHANICAL ENGINEER

<b>Department</b><br><br> MAINTENANCE <br><br> <b>Primary Purpose of the Job</b><br><br><p>Supervises and participates in the maintenance and repair of rotating and stationary equipment at an assigned offshore location. Performs supervisory functions at the level established by management for the position. </p><p>Monitors and reviews incoming work requests relevant to Mechanical Section. Determines and enters work requests requirements in terms of man-hours, skill levels, materials and equipment required and examines critically code to ascertain urgency. In cases of A1 criticality, liaises with the Senior Maintenance Supervisor to raise immediate work order so that works can commence to alleviate the situation.</p><br><br><b>Required Experience and Skills</b><br><br><ul><li>15 year experience, an aptitude for understanding drawings, P&ID's and cause and effects of complex packages, mechanical and rotating equipment/machines in addition to their control systems</li></ul><br><br><b>Educational Qualifications</b><br><br><p>B.Sc. in a relevant Engineering</p>
