<b>Project Controls Engineer </b><b>Location</b>: Rotterdam, South Holland<br><br><b>Job Overview </b>Petroplan are sourcing a <b>Project Controls Engineer</b> to oversee the construction of a cutting-edge LNG tank in Netherlands / Rotterdam. <br>This role is pivotal to ensuring the seamless coordination of contractors, tracking project progress, and driving construction efficiency on a high-profile industrial project.<br><br><b>Offered as a contract position; 12 Month initial term (Renewable) </b><br><br>The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating across disciplines, producing detailed progress reports, and fostering collaboration to maintain momentum and efficiency.<br><br><b>Key Responsibilities</b><ul><li><b>Progress Tracking</b>: Monitor and evaluate the schedules and performance of contractors across various disciplines.</li><li><b>System Implementation</b>: Develop tools and processes to measure weekly construction progress and consolidate overall project updates.</li><li><b>Data Analysis</b>: Calculate weekly progress metrics by discipline and contractor while monitoring labor hours for direct and indirect activities.</li><li><b>Reporting</b>: Compile comprehensive weekly reports on project advancement to inform stakeholders and support decision-making.</li><li><b>Coordination</b>: Lead weekly contractor progress meetings, document actionable insights, and participate in monthly discussions to address key project matters.</li><li><b>Documentation Review</b>: Evaluate contractors' Work Method Statements to ensure compliance with project standards and provide actionable feedback.</li></ul><b>Jobs Requirements</b><br><ul><li>A degree in Engineering or a closely related field.</li><li>At least <b>3</b><b> years of experience in industrial projects |</b> <b>2 years in on-site planning roles</b>.</li><li>Expertise in progress measurement, planning, and productivity analysis for complex industrial developments.</li><li>Proficiency with <b>Primavera P6</b> for scheduling, productivity tracking, and curve generation.</li><li>Strong organizational and communication abilities, with confidence in contributing to and moderating meetings.</li></ul><b>Desirable Skills</b><br><ul><li>Familiarity with cost control systems is an advantage.</li><li>Basic Spanish proficiency is preferred but not essential.</li><li>Willingness to relocate or undertake assignments within Europe.</li><li>Additional certifications or postgraduate studies in relevant fields will be considered favorably.</li><li>Be part of a high-profile LNG project in a globally significant energy hub.</li></ul>If you are highly organized, proactive, and ready to contribute to a major industrial project, we encourage you to apply!
