We're seeking an experienced engineer with a positive attitude who is eager to advance their career!</b><br><br><b>Region NCE > Customer Project Execution > Heavy Lift & Site Engineering Offshore</b><br> <br> Heavy Lift & Site Engineering team in Vestas is responsible for the technical and marine operations of Offshore Installation Vessels and Service Jack-Up Vessels for Main Component Exchanges in Northern Europe where we support our offshore wind projects. You will become a part of the team with skilled and experienced subject-matter experts within the offshore installation and service logistics area.<br><br><b>Responsibilities</b><br> <ul> <li>Prepare and review seabed and site data, lifting plans, ghost positions, SSA/LPA, and coordinate with jack-up vessel owners and project teams.</li> <li>Participate in interface meetings with clients, vessel providers, MWS, and other contractors to ensure smooth information exchange and task distribution within Vestas.</li> <li>Assist Sales, Construction, and Service teams with technical and marine operations to ensure safe and efficient vessel sailing, jacking, and lifting.</li> <li>Conduct thorough assessments of seabed and site conditions to inform project planning and execution.</li> <li>Develop and review detailed lifting plans and ghost positions for operational accuracy.</li> <li>Liaise with installation jack-up vessel owners and project teams to ensure alignment and coordination.</li> <li>Support technical and marine operations across various functions to maintain safety and efficiency standards.</li> </ul><br><b><br> Qualifications</b><br> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience, preferably in Offshore Wind or Oil & Gas with Rigs/Jack-Ups.</li> <li>Engineering degree in mechanical, civil, geotechnical, or marine fields.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of projection and ship navigation systems.</li> <li>Proficient in marine surveys and data modeling of LIDAR and bathymetric datasets.</li> <li>Experienced in chart production and handling pUXO, MAG, SSS, and SUB objects.</li> <li>Deep expertise in Offshore Wind Jack-Up Vessels, Marine Operations, and Heavy Lift and Transport.</li> <li>Skilled in GIS, AutoCAD, and MS Office, with fluency in English.</li> </ul><br><b>Competencies</b><br> <ul> <li>Capable of working both individually and as part of a team.</li> <li>Team-oriented with proven cross-functional collaboration skills.</li> <li>Progressive mindset with a self-motivated attitude.</li> <li>Proficient in scheduling and prioritizing tasks.</li> </ul><br><b><br> What we offer</b><br> We offer an exciting job with great opportunities for development in an inspiring environment at a world leading wind turbine producer.
