<b>Overview</b><br />
<br />
We are seeking a Refining and Petrochemicals Facility Planning Specialist to join our Portfolio Optimization Division under the Fuels Strategy & Capital Planning Department.<br />
<br />
The Portfolio Optimization Division is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and optimizing capital investment opportunities within Aramco&
39;s refining operating facilities and develops the corresponding project business cases in liaison with the refinery organization.<br />
<br />
Your primary role will to drive the early stages of brownfield project development, from opportunity identification to project proposal and business case submission.<br />
<br />
<b>Key Responsibilities</b><br />
<br />
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as subject matter expert in the refining economics, fuels market trends.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities for new brownfield capital investment in refining manufacturing sites, develop conceptual project proposal, to enhance overall profitability in alignment with the company&
39;s strategy and long-term goals.</li>
<li>Conduct feasibility studies on refineries and petrochemical facilities, with an emphasis on technical and economic justifications.</li>
<li>Coordinate a multi-discipline project development team, track deliverables development and ensure consistency.</li>
<li>Support techno-economic evaluations.</li>
<li>Support optimal solution selection.</li>
<li>Develop Project Value proposition.</li>
<li>Develop project business cases for inclusion in investment plans, support project through phased gate process.</li>
<li>Mentor young professionals.</li>
</ul>

<b>Minimum Requirements</b><br />
<br />
As the successful candidate you will hold master&
39;s degree in Chemical Engineering, business education a plus.</p>
<ul>
<li>20 years of relevant professional experience in an international integrated O&G / Downstream company or consulting firm.</li>
<li>Experience in Refining brownfield project monitoring (PMO).</li>
<li>Experience in Project or Business Development.</li>
<li>Experience in presenting to senior executive management.</li>
</ul>
