<b>Presentation/teaser to the position:</b><br />
We need to strengthen our technical staff, and we are therefore looking for a Survey Management Analyst to add to our department in Sperry Drilling in Halliburton.<br />
As a Survey Management Analyst you will work in a team of Survey Management Analysts to build your knowledge of directional survey systems, understand the limitations of different systems, analyze and improve directional survey quality and quality check the survey databases to ensure that all of the data is synchronized.<br />
This will require knowledge of the well planning software Compass, the Measurement Whilst Drilling application Insite and specific Survey Management applications. The position will have opportunity for cross training to expand on Well Design and Engineering knowledge.</p>

<ul>
<li>Design of dedicated survey program to meet the customer objective for wellbore placement.</li>
<li>Ensure that the customers and Halliburton&
39;s survey requirements are followed.</li>
<li>Analyze raw survey data to correct for instrument and environmental biases.</li>
<li>Check that the drilling rig, the customer, and Halliburton&
39;s survey databases are synchronized.</li>
<li>Prepare a daily QC report to be issued to the customer, rig, and Halliburton coordinator.</li>

<b>Qualifications:</b><br />
We are looking for engineers with previous experience within wellbore surveying. The candidate should hold a degree in Petroleum Engineering or strongly related fields.<br />
