ADHOC CRANE OPERATOR (MOBILISING ASAP UNTIL 8TH JANUARY 2025 - PAYE)</p>

<p>
Our client is seeking an experienced Crane Operator with the appropriate certification to mobilise offshore from Aberdeen as soon as possible until the 8th January 2025. </p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
Duties:</p>
<p>
Operation of cargo and ballast systems as directed by Line Manager.</p>
<p>
Setting up and monitoring crude oil washing, tank cleaning and associated cargo equipment.</p>
<p>
Operating cranes safely and within design limits.</p>
<p>
Carrying out routine inspections, lubrication, planned maintenance and assisting in overhaul of vessel cranes.</p>
<p>
Stand in as Deck Foreman as required.</p>
<p>
Assisting the Deck Foreman with rigging and lifting operations.</p>
<p>
The handling of stores to and from supply vessels and within the installation.</p>
<p>
Carrying out HLO duties associated with safe helicopter operations as required and the day to day requirements, to keep the helideck and associated equipment operational, including acting as the HDA if required. </p>
<p>
Assist with the mooring and unmooring of shuttle tankers including transfer of export hose.</p>
<p>
Assist with operation of cargo and ballast systems as directed by Line Manager; including setting up and monitoring crude oil washing, tank cleaning and associated cargo equipment.</p>
<p>
Assisting maintaining all cargo handling equipment, pumps, valves etc. in the cargo pump room, tanks and on deck, in line with planned maintenance, when required.</p>
<p>
General planned maintenance of all deck machinery and equipment, e.g. winches, valves, pumps, etc.</p>
<p>
Routine maintenance and repair of accommodation fittings.</p>
<p>
Ensuring stocks of spares for cargo equipment and accommodation are maintained and ordered as required.</p>
<p>
Carrying out manual checks of tank levels and sampling as required. </p>
<p>
Fabric maintenance including mechanical preparation and application of paint as required.</p>
<p>
Keeping Deck Foreman advised of usage and re-order requirements of deck consumables.</p>
<p>
Any other duties, including housekeeping, as directed by the Line Manager.</p>

Qualifications:</p>
<p>
Combined Offshore Survival, Fire Fighting and HUET Certificate </p>
<p>
MIST / IMIST </p>
<p>
Oil & Gas UK Offshore Medical Certificate</p>
<p>
Oil & Gas UK Certificate of Fitness to Participate in Emergency Response Team Duties </p>
<p>
