Its function caters mainly to the technical needs of GM Operating facilities. <br> <br> Your primary role will include designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining instruments systems, across multiple facilities from the Downstream. You will also be responsible for providing technical support on high priority systems issues.<br><br><b>Key Responsibilities</b><br><br>As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:<br><br><ul> <li> Provide technical guidance, support, training, and expertise to plant departments. </li> <li> Monitoring Instrumentation systems performance across all downstream departments. </li> <li> Assess Instrumentation performance and recommend improvements for system optimization. </li> <li> Develop and maintain lifecycle management activities for instrumentation systems. </li> <li> Establish auditing guidelines and perform frequent instruments audits. </li> <li> Lead the development of new strategies and validate the feasibility of improving company productivity. </li> <li> Ensure manufacturing knowledge is captured in the knowledge repository and continuous improvement is delivered by benchmarking and best practices. </li> <li> Provide awareness sessions and lead technical exchanges and conferences. </li> <li> Maintain Instrumentation systems knowledge repository. </li> <li> Act as a subject matter expert in Instrumentation and contribute to the troubleshooting activities. </li> </ul><br><b>Minimum Requirements</b><br><br>As a successful candidate you will hold a:<br><br><ul> <li> Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent. </li> <li> 12 years' experience in refining /oil and gas plants /petrochemical industries. </li> <li> Proficient in the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry, i.e., API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc. </li> <li> You should have Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. </li> <li> Familiarity with field instrument types and applications. </li> <li> You should have knowledge of oil/gas-related plant processes. </li> </ul><br><b> Working environment </b> <br> <br> Our high-performing employees are drawn by the challenging and rewarding professional, technical and industrial opportunities we offer, and are remunerated accordingly. <br> <br> At Aramco, our people work on truly world-scale projects, supported by investment in capital and technology that is second to none.
