<b>Primary Purpose of Job</b><br />
Plan, supervise, coordinate, and control the collection, analysis, and evaluation of Geophysical data for reservoirs studies to generate appropriate field development plans. Provide high level quality geophysical support for QatarEnergy Idd El-Shargi field and participate in interdisciplinary reservoir study teams. Provide ad hoc support to Reservoir Management Teams for well proposals/prognoses preparation when needed. Perform geo-hazard analysis for well planning and estimate the risk level using the geophysical data<br />
<br />
<b>Education</b><br />
&bull; Minimum of a BSc in Geophysics is required. &bull; Advanced degree will be a plus.<br />
<br />
<b>Experience &amp; Skills</b><br />
&bull; Minimum of 20 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with at least 10 years&
39; experience on conducting Geophysical risk assessment related to studies/operations. &bull; Very strong experience in 2D/3D seismic interpretation of carbonate reservoirs in Middle East region, seismic attributes analysis and seismic characterization with different inversion technics. &bull; Good knowledge of carbonate geology/structural geological principles. &bull; Strong knowledge of borehole seismic acquisition, processing, and interpretation. &bull; Strong experience in seismic processing applying new technologies in PreSDM processing. Experience in 4D is a real plus. &bull; Must have strong teamwork skills. Experience working in a multicultural and integrated asset team environment is a plus. &bull; Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, less experienced staff, field staff, and Management. &bull; Must have very strong experience/knowledge of Petrel and other current computer software for geophysical applications.<br />
