Develop and maintain Kafka producers and consumers for real-time data ingestion and processing. Collaborate with product and platform teams to optimize Kafka performance and ensure high availability. Implement security best practices to secure Kafka clusters and data streams. Monitor and provide support for Kafka clusters including performance metrics, troubleshoot issues, and perform capacity planning. Work closely with developers across product teams to integrate Kafka into data pipelines consumed by API’s. Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on Kafka and Confluent best practices.
