<p><em>Contract Duration: 12 Months (Initially via agency, transitioning to direct employment)</em></p>

<p><em>Preferred Language Requirement: Dutch Speaking </em></p>

<p>Our client is currently in search of a Principal Control Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate will be able to specify requirements, evaluate and select control system vendors and provide guidance and attend FAT / SAT.</p>

<p>We're specifically seeking candidates actively working in the Netherlands with experience in Petrochemical, Hydrogen, and Refinery projects.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering</li>
<li>Control System Experience - DCS/PLC</li>
<li>FEED/EPC Experience</li>
<li>You agree on the preconditions of the assignment with the customer</li>
<li>You have regular contact with both the customer and suppliers</li>
<li>You can define the scope of a customer request and provide support in making a realistic calculation</li>
<li>You lead a team of 3 - 10 engineers and are responsible for the budget allocated to you, achieving the set milestones and the quality of the work</li>
<li>Over 7 years of experience in Control System engineering, with a crucial emphasis on extensive experience with Honeywell control systems</li>
<li>Proficient in managing the main automation contractor and validating the deliverables produced</li>
<li>Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written</li>
<li>A flexible attitude and willingness to carry out work on location at customers' premises</li>
</ul>

<li>Previous experience on Dutch projects</li>
<li>Demonstrates a proactive and pragmatic mindset</li>
<li>Experience in collaborating with remote offices using the work-sharing concept</li>
