SC Analyst (PPV/Projects)

Overview We're looking for a high performing finance analyst to join our Supply Chain Finance team. In this role you will lead the reporting for our Commodities and Utilities and be the key link between the UK Supply Chain Finance team and Global Procurement. Responsibilities Reporting and analysis of commodity price variances for the UK manufacturing sites. Reporting and analysis of Utilities price variances for the UK manufacturing & Logistics sites. Monthly reporting accruals across a number of budgets. Coordination of the forecasting and AOP process for commodities, including managing reconciliations and allocations to BUs. Control Owner for commodity price review, minimising risk of mis-statement. To identify and transfer best practices and ways of working between sites. Support the UK Optimisation journey to fully embed and get the best out of SAP. Qualifications Commercial ACA or CIMA with PQE, ideally in an FMCG or manufacturing environment with strong development. Strong presentation and communication skills. The ability to liaise confidently and assertively across all levels. High level of proficiency with data manipulation using software packages - Excel in particular essential. Accounting systems experience - ideally SAP but can learn on the job. Assertive and independent with the ability to cope effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. This includes working on multiple projects simultaneously, usually with complex data. Ability to manage a very broad agenda, and single-mindedly ensure key objectives are delivered. Ability to prioritise and delegate support requests, align priorities, arrange resource or push back where resources are insufficient.
