Phlebotomy Student Intern

Þpartment Phlebotomy Job Summary Under the guidance of supervision, the Phlebotomy Student Intern will have the opportunity to participate and learn about the various duties and responsibilities of a phlebotomist, while gaining a better understanding of healthcare, patient experience, and customer/patient satisfaction through a variety of assignments, from shadowing staff in the field, specimen handling education, attending program meetings and trainings, as well as a variety of other tasks. Required Qualifications Preferred Qualifications - Prefer a willingness to learn. - Prefer demonstrated knowledge of computers and commonly used applications. - Prefer effective customer service skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of staff and the public, both in person and by telephone.
