Subsea Project Engineer Level I

We also use applied technology expertise to serve the defense, entertainment, material handling, aerospace, science, and renewable energy industries. <br><br><b> Position Summary </b><br><br><b>Purpose:</b> <br><br> Assist with the design and project management of engineering projects, encompassing activities from initial contact with clients through concept, design, manufacture, build, and test to completion of the associated documentation and procedures. <br><br><b> Duties & Responsibilities </b><br><br><b> Functions </b><ul> <li> Preparation of innovative designs backed with engineering calculations and analysis. </li> <li> Preparation of manufacturing drawings. </li> <li> Liaison with suppliers and clients to ensure requirements are achieved and issues are resolved. </li> <li> Review and checking of drawings, calculations, and documentation. </li> <li> Taking ownership of projects from conception to completion and through all aspects of planning, design, manufacture, and testing. This includes project control such as cost control, scheduling, and conducting reviews and risk assessments. </li> <li> Support products and equipment as required (may require offshore trips). </li> </ul><br><b>General</b> <br><br> The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post. <br><br> Assist with any other duties as and when required. <br><br> <b>Safety</b> <br><br> Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment. <br><br> <b>Other</b> <br><br> Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems. <br><br> Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company. <br><br> Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment. <br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Qualifications </b> <br><br> REQUIRED <br><br> Degree or equivalent level of competence in an Engineering Discipline <br><br> Apprenticeship in a mechanical trade <br><br> Experience of designing mechanical systems <br><br> Knowledge of Remotely Operated Vehicles and related tooling <br><br> Knowledge of Lifting and Handling Systems <br><br> Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, structural steelwork, pressure vessels, electrical power and control systems <br><br> 2d AutoCAD <br><br> 3D CAD Experience <br><br> SolidWorks <br><br> FEA <br><br> MathCAD <br><br> Microsoft Word <br><br> Microsoft Excel <br><br> Microsoft Project or Similar
