Sr. GM - Global Solution Architect / Domain Expert – Chemical Segment

Global Solution Architect In this position you will be responsible for providing pre-sales support as a customer consultant, with domain understanding and prescribe industrial automation solutions as well as effectively manage communication with customers / internal sales teams. You will be responsible for developing and supporting integrated, intelligent cross-domain solutions and process for targeted Schneider Electric customers in the fine/speciality chemical industry. Your responsibilities: In this position you will be responsible for working with regional business development/ TSCs/ proposal teams to bring a differentiating value proposition to the customer, leveraging the complete Schneider Electric and Aveva Portfolio. You will develop and grow Schneider Electric’s profitable share of wallet and quality of business. Further, you will be accountable for implementing the actions around giving feedback to the Industrial Automation Business Unit and Chemicals Segment on new market requirements, technological evolutions, and competitor analysis. You will share your knowledge with our customers and strengthen the relationships, but also deal with and solve critical challenges of our customers. Further, you will be spending time with customers to capture their needs and analyze the requirements, present potential ideas and fine tune solutions through intensive customer interactions. About you: The ideal candidate will be an accomplished business developer with extensive experience in global business development roles and a technical degree, preferably within the areas of chemicals or electrical engineering. You have 10+ years of professional experiences in the chemical or oil & gas industries, preferably with a focus on industrial automation / software. You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record in growing key account businesses and developing consultative sales. You should have excellent written and oral business communication skills with fluency in English with the ability to articulate business trends and link actions to outcomes.
