Deck Foreman

<p>We have an upcoming requirement for our client offshore Jack-up Drilling rig operations in Qatar.</p>

<p><strong>Position: Deck Foreman (Expat) </strong></p>

<p>Work location: Qatar.</p>

<p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS &amp; JOB DESCRIPTION: </strong></p>

<p>As a member of the rig team, under supervision of the clients drilling supervisors, the deck foreman must provide support, oversight and advice to the crew and third party companies. Partake in the day to day tasks with high focus on the operational performance and safety.</p>

<p>&bull;Strong background and experience with leadership and people management</p>

<p>&bull;Experience in lifting and planning operations including ability to solve complex problems in an innovative and cost-effective manner</p>

<p>&bull;Positive and engaging attitude towards safety and how to continuously improve performance and safety</p>

<p>&bull;Maintain a thorough understanding of the operational procedures / systems</p>

<p>&bull;Assist with the daily Safe Job Analysis, Permit To Work, Tool Box Talks and other operational tasks including review and spot check of same</p>

<p>&bull;Must be able to keep focus on several aspects of operations at a time while maintaining a professional relationship with all involved</p>

<p>&bull;Coordinate lifting operations and deck storage in cooperation with the Crane Operator, Company Representative and Third Parties</p>

<p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: </strong></p>

<p>&bull;Fluent in English (written and verbal)</p>

<p>&bull;10+ years of industry experience, of which at least 4 years as a deck foreman</p>

<p>&bull;Experience working as an Crane Operator will be preferred</p>

<p>&bull;Valid BOSIET safety certificate, OGUK, Crane operator stage 3 certificate.</p>

<p><strong>Experience Required as below:</strong></p>

<p>Candidates should have a very good experience on the offshore Jack up rig with the Middle East Experience..</p>
