The Role: IT Tech Partner What will you do? Provide first line support for IT hardware, software, network and operating system problems and queries for both in-house and remote staff. Troubleshoot software, hardware and network problems, undertaking repairs and fixes where possible and escalating more complex problems to the appropriate member of IT staff or third party supplier. Install hardware and software as required. Ensure all processes relevant to the sphere of responsibility are fully documented and kept up to date. Identify and remediate threats under Cybersecurity. Maintain the hardware/software inventory and accountability ensuring currency of information and complete data integrity. Qualifications Who would be successful? Excellent communication, problem-solving and customer service skills are essential. The ability to be flexible, work under pressure, prioritize and multitask are essential skills required for this post. High customer service orientation Able to work with minimum supervision A minimum of 4 years-experience working within a complex networked IT environment. Good all round PC skills, both hardware and software, are essential. Technical experience of Windows 10 and MS-O365, is essential. Technical experience of Oracle and Linux is an advantage. A formal qualification in a computer-related discipline is an advantage. Experience of the set-up and operation of video conference equipment is an advantage. Experience in supporting different business units such as Customer Care Center, Sales Office, etc., would be an advantage. Schedule: Full-time Req: 008VVO
