Metrology Instrument Specialist

<p>The service consists in assisting the COMPANY Lead Methods of Instrument and Control System. This SERVICE encompasses mainly the following activities:</p>

<p><strong>HSE:</strong></p>

<p>- Implementation of the Metering/Analysers Dossier (GS SAF 260) and all instrumentation related entry in the SAFETY DOSSIER,</p>

<p>- Maintenance of the meters and analysers as required by ISO 14001,</p>

<p>- Vision of the precision and reliability of the figures for all Block 17 metering operations general maintenance contractors, in particular the calibration of meters, and is directly responsible for the precision of transaction-related metering points (metering stand, etc.).</p>

<p><strong>Metrology activites:</strong></p>

<p>- Establishment and follow up of maintenance strategy for metrology equipment (Topsides and Subsea),</p>

<p>- Set up procedures for maintenance operations on metering equipment. Follow up and check compliance with these procedures (CMMS, reports, inspections, audits, etc.) and reporting of any work done,</p>

<p>- Creation and maintenance of a metering operations data base,</p>

<p>- Technical assistance in operations (diagnostics, operational support if needed),</p>

<p>- Follow -up of metrology equipment quality (create quality procedures if necessary and monitor),</p>

<p>- Organisation of regular proving of meter provers,</p>

<p>- Organisation of yearly calibration of loading turbines,</p>

<p>- Analysis of discrepancies between liftings/production and propose improvements,</p>

<p>- Technical expertise on metering and direct assistance on site,</p>

<p>- Draw up of specifications for all new metering points,</p>

<p>- Studies and monitoring of the implementation of new metering points,</p>

<p>- Metrology contact point for all auditors,</p>

<p>- Close cooperation with lab/material balance/wells/surface & subsea processes/sites.Metering,</p>

<p>- In liaison with Material balance, Process engineers and Operating department, define the optimum strategy for the maintenance of process metering instruments and custody transfer equipment.</p>

<p><strong>Contract Supervision:</strong></p>

<p>- Evaluation of the competency and the performances of the contractors in Metrology activities,</p>

<p>- Audit of contractors as necessary,</p>

<p>- Supervision of the management of spare parts for Metrology equipment according to pre defined strategy.</p>

<p><strong>Optimisation and Development</strong></p>

<p>- Proposition of modification of the maintenance strategy according to Site requirements,</p>

<p>- Role in the SMR/RFM,</p>

<p>- Interface with projects.</p>

<p> </p>

<p><strong>Management:</strong></p>

<p>- Contribution to the training and the development of junior engineers and technicians,</p>

<p>- Provide relevontractor supervisionant REX to the ICS trade (head office),</p>

<p>- Reporting of Metrology activities,</p>

<p>- Contribution to the integration of future DB17 development,</p>
