Assistant Manager – Supply Chain

Overview Main purpose: The purpose of this role is to be the dispatch planner and key planning contact for Bottler. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient availability of Finished Goods to fulfill orders on time and in full, within agreed working capital targets and turnaround time. This position will also be responsible for managing all inflow of Importation for Finished Goods in all forms & then dispatching the same to the customer. Responsibilities Accountability: Develop detailed FG dispatch plans based on the monthly VBL product forecast and communicate with the VBL planning team Liaison with production planner & material planner for ensuring the FG availability for next 2-3 weeks & accordingly draft the dispatch plan for Bottlers Be the point of contact for Bottlers related any priority dispatches ensure there is a strong communication channel between PGCS Channo & Bottlers Co-ordinate with all the internal stakeholders to ensure availability of finished goods Maintain dispatch KPIs which include weekly dispatch compliance, OTD, & Line Fill Co-ordinate with Bottlers to exhaust slow moving inventory (if Any) to have minimum impact on obsolescence Responsible for driving “Zero customer complaint” environment in dispatch Area Responsible for driving BCP/Importation for FG- Should be able to design end to end dispatch process & follow up with the stakeholders for different BCP/importation shipments (Timelines, Qty, dispatch process etc.) Determine and communicate Customer Order confirmation dates and quantities according to the normal lead time Be an integral part of production meetings with the PGCS Channo Manufacturing Team and coordinate with the External DC 3PL provider Identify, manage, and coordinate rework opportunities Provide accurate and timely feedback in relation to Inventory in Risk (MIRA) Be an integral part of SNOPs & should be able to provide insights related to short term & long term dispatch plans Review product freshness and determine potential usage of ageing products via the PGCS Allocations Process Participate in development and implementation of new area processes and improvements Should be responsible for AIB audit etc. for dispatch area Adherence to all PepsiCo Health & Safety requirements is a requirement of this role Any other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Inventory or Materials Planning At least 3 years of experience in a related Supply Chain or Operations role, with experience in Capacity Planning and production preferred Strong operational experience in a dynamic multinational organization Experience working closely with third parties and colleagues in remote locations to deliver business objectives an advantage Experience in FMCG production planning will be an advantage Excellent analytical skill, with proven ability in problem solving and quick decision making Excellent interpersonal skill and communication skill in, both verbal and written Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization Differentiating Competencies Required Ability to manage multiple and complex tasks Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments Possess knowledge of SAP S&D module Knowledge of SAP WMS module will be an advantage Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Office Strong stake holder management skillndustry and always focus Be capable of working effectively in a cross functional and virtual environmenturing
