Production & Supply Operations Technician

Accountabilities<br> - Work safely to meet and improve plant and site targets for HSE and to be accountable for all aspects of HSE within an individual's area of responsibility<br> - Operate the premix/milling and formulation work stations to achieve production plans to meet business requirements to agreed quality assurance standards<br> - Ensure availability of materials to maintain plant manufacture<br> - Carry out first line engineering maintenance work, within competence and time, to reduce plant downtime and increase efficiency of operation<br> - In conjunction with engineering, support annual shutdown engineering maintenance programme<br> - Record manufacturing and engineering data using relevant systems and as required analysing the data and carrying out corrective actions<br> - Carry out formal and informal monitoring processes of plant and equipment, initiating/carrying out corrective actions to monitor/improve standards<br> - Give, receive, validate and where appropriate, accredit training as required<br> - Actively participate in continuous improvement and ongoing change<br> - Be an effective and flexible member of a work group contributing towards overall departmental strategy, goals and values<br> - Perform AT-Line Laboratory analysis/testing of Final products<br> <br> Skills:    <br> Critical success factors & key challenges<br> - Maintain / improve plant standards<br> - Progress quickly through plant training requirements<br> - Positive and proactive behaviours<br> - Ability to work both on own initiative and in a team<br> - Deliver plant manufacturing requirements<br /><br />With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil &amp; Gas, Power &amp; Renewables, Chemicals, Construction &amp; Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and&nbsp;Manufacturing&nbsp;sectors worldwide.
