Þal Billing Coordinator

BOS WS The Deal Billing Coordinator is responsible for providing accurate auditing of the deal documents prepared by the stores to ensure they meet revenue recognition under AutoNation guidelines and complete the billing process. Organizational Relationships: Interacts with internal and external customers at various levels, various teams within the SSC, supervisors and management. Job Responsibilities: Review and verify deal documents set up in CDK adhere to AutoNation guidelines prior to posting to accounting If applicable, email the store a list of any unacceptable or missing documentation needed to meet Rev Rec standards Flag and verify the deals have posted to accounting in CDK Finalize deals from the AN USA Stores and other assigned store’s used deals Communicate to the store when the deal is posted by closing out the deal’s assigned check off list Ensure all work is complete by meeting daily Service Level Agreements and on deadline critical nights, payroll cut-off and month end Work on other duties and special projects, as assigned Problem Solving: Can perform duties under direct supervision Qualifications: A clear understanding of accounting principles and logic Flexible work schedule to accommodate month-end deadlines Produce high-quality and quantity of work while under deadline pressure Must be highly organized; have excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities Team player with superior customer service skills Working knowledge of MS office software – MS Excel and Word, ECM, and CDK Proficient in 10-key and typing skills Automotive accounting experience preferred, but not required Next Possible Position: Deal Revenue Recognition Specialist or cross functional position within the Shared Services Center Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary role with extended period looking at computer monitors.
