AutoNation Business Operations Support The Deal Billing Supervisor facilitates proper documentation and confirms deal paperwork meets revenue recognition, state, municipality, and AutoNation policy requirements. The Deal Billing Supervisor position will have managerial oversight over a group of Deal Billing Coordinators, helping to bill deals during high-volume times, escalate questions, field inquiries from the store, etc. A Deal Billing Supervisor serves as a billing resource for the stores within an assigned state, maintaining regular communication with the Controller or other designated store point of contact. Organizational Relationships: Interacts with internal and external customers at various levels, Variable Ops team, and management. Job Responsibilities: Ensure Service Level Agreements are met and/or exceeded by working the Deal Rev Rec exceptions Ensure all work is complete on deadline critical nights, payroll cut-off and month end Fill-in for absent associate, when needed, to ensure daily coverage is met in order to service our customers Provide feedback to Supervisor and Manager on associate performance Perform all other projects and tasks as requested Problem Solving: Can perform duties with minimum assistance Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of accounting experience Experience handling high volume transactions with speed and accuracy Previous leadership skills Effective training skills Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Have excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities Communicate effectively with customer base Ability to work independently and as a team member in a deadline-driven environment Produce high-quality work while under deadline pressure Working Knowledge of MS Office software – MS Excel, Word, and Office Automotive accounting experience preferred, but not required Next Possible Position: VOPS Training Lead or Deal Rev Rec Sr. Lead or other cross-functional roles within the SSC Physical Requirements: This is a largely sedentary role with extended period looking at computer monitors and being on the telephone.
