Come be part of something special - start your journey today! <br><br><b>The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, reporting to the North American Projects Operations Leader, will develop and maintain dashboards for the North American Projects organization using available Business Intelligence tools. The responsibilities of a Business Intelligence Developer include creating technical solutions, maintaining existing dashboards based on feedback received from the end users, and helping drive business decisions based on data-driven insights. The BI Developer will lead transforming our business information into actionable reports and visualizations. </b><br><br><b>To be successful as a Business Intelligence Developer, you should have a broad understanding of the business technology landscape, the ability to design reports, and strong analytical skills.</b><br><br><b>Key Characteristics</b><br><ul><li><b>Strong business operations knowledge.</b></li><li><b>Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.</b></li><li><b>Flexible, resilient, collaborative and results-driven. </b></li><li><b>Analytical approach to problem-solving with the ability to exercise sound judgment and common sense under changing conditions. </b></li><li><b>Ability to motivate and influence others.</b></li></ul><br><b>Duties & Responsibilities </b><br><ul><li><b>Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.</b></li><li><b>Build, develop, and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics that support vital business decisions.</b></li><li><b>Manage and optimize data intake, validation, mining and engineering processes, modeling, visualization, and communication deliverables.</b></li><li><b>Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.</b></li><li><b>Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.</b></li><li><b>Troubleshooting any data or performance issues with workbooks and data sources</b></li><li><b>Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams.</b></li><li><b>Effectively communicate, train and deploy reports to the wider organization. </b></li></ul><br><b>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities </b><br><ul><li><b>Strong data analysis skills and able to extract conclusions to optimize operations </b></li><li><b>Publishing Workbooks and Data Sources to Tableau</b></li><li><b>Advance SQL understanding & writing optimized queries</b></li><li><b>Sound knowledge and experience in Excel, Google, and Amazon could workspace, PL/SQL, ETL, and Tableau platform</b></li><li><b>Able to manipulate and blend data in order to design dashboards and visualization</b></li></ul><br><b>Education & Experience</b><br><br><b>Required:</b><br><ul><li><b>Degree in mathematics, computer science/engineering, information systems, or a related field.</b></li><li><b>At least, 5 years of BI analytics experience</b></li><li><b>A solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and normalization.</b></li><li><b>Extensive experience developing, maintaining and managing Tableau-driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.</b></li></ul><br>We offer competitive compensation and benefits working in a dynamic environment with challenging projects and training provided to ensure your success.<br><br>We realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
