Responsibilities Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. Job Description: The LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders. The LPN accurately collects data need for the appropriate portion of the integrated assessment. The LPN must have a knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures. nurse Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing and a valid unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing (or issued by another state recognized by the Arizona Board of Nursing as a multi-compact license state). One year as a LPN in psychiatric nursing required. Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification upon hire Successful completion of (SAMA) including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment Current CPR or BLS certification. Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card or the ability to obtain. Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 12-65yrs+. **For our geriatric unit, 1 year of med/surge experience is strongly preferred.
