<p><strong>Trustees<br />
Location:</strong> Hybrid / Cambridge<br />
<strong>Salary: </strong>Voluntary, Unpaid role. Reasonable expenses will be covered and travel expenses can be paid.<br />
<strong>Hours: </strong>Part time<br />
<strong>Contract: </strong>Initial term of 3 years</p>
<p><strong>About the organisation</strong></p>
<p>The charity are an advice and support hub for homeless and vulnerably housed people in Cambridge. Open daily throughout the year, they provide services to aid every stage of recovery - from immediate basic welfare needs to long-term help people overcome challenges and fulfil their potential. They offer housing and tenancy support, debt advice, support with training and employment, access to a range of mental and physical health services, a dedicated women’s programme, and extensive work to promote social inclusion.</p>
<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>The charity are looking for people to join an experienced and passionate Board of Trustees who work collaboratively in providing strategic oversight and governance of the organisation, to ensure its financial stability and that it achieves its vision. </p>
<p>You will have a strong empathy with their mission and are willing to bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role, and will broaden the diversity of thinking on their board.</p>
<p>Skills in the area of business, commercial, marketing and fundraising would be particularly welcome. Previous governance experience in a Charity setting is desirable.</p>
<p><strong>Closing Date:</strong> <strong>5pm on Monday 4th December 2023</strong><br />
