Position Summary The primary focus of this role is the delivery of the IT Product & Cell Therapy Development portfolio. This position is responsible for the planning and execution of assigned projects along with application support operations belonging to IT for the Product & Cell Therapy Development function. This job will require orchestrating project-related efforts across a broad set of stakeholders and sponsors ensuring project commitments are met with the right sense of urgency and Supervise IT support team to support and maintain IT applications. , ASP.NETMVC 5, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML Web services, WCF and WPF OR Experience in web development, application development using programming languages such as Java/JSP, J2EE, XML, SOAP, JSON/REST services. • 2-3 years’ experience in IT with demonstrated success in delivering and supporting Lab systems/applications, Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), COTS applications & custom-built solutions specific to life sciences industry. • Must have knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and of computer systems validation (CSV) • Knowledge in Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), DevOps, Configuration management, Infrastructure automation, Continuous integration, and Delivery (CI/CD). • Knowledge of RDBMS/RDS such as Oracle, SQL server and PostgreSQL. • Strong Project Management skills, and experience with agile and scrum methodologies. • Knowledge of cGXP and 21CFR Part11 standards. • Knowledge in Agile software development, Service-oriented architectures, Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). Key Responsibilities • Identifies staffing needs and works with management team to pursue the hiring process. • Supervise IT team to support and maintain Product & Cell Therapy Development applications and ensure timely resolution of outstanding incidents/ requests as per SLA. • Interact with IT/ business team to understand service level agreements and communicate the same to team members. • Mentor and direct team members for timely completion of assigned projects. • Perform incident/ request /problem analysis and work with the team to develop problem management and service improvement plans. Qualifications & Experience • Requires thorough knowledge of the principles and concepts of a discipline and developed knowledge of other related disciplines, typically gained through a university degree and 5-7 years of experience. Responsible for leading a small team (results/outcomes, goal setting, input into performance management and coaching). Actively participates in troubleshooting of routine problems. Makes decisions that impact own team and other groups/teams. May represent team or function on program or project teams. • People manager level with supervisory responsibility for Individual contributor positions • Responsible for a sub-function's work in a team leader capacity. • Persuades and negotiates effectively with stakeholders in being able to coordinate actions for achieving the desired outcome. • Articulates and presents complex information clearly and concisely across all levels. Demonstrates abilities and knowledge in being able to explain and present complex topics clearly. • Participates in decision making and brings experiences and ideas to achieve team objectives. • Identifies short-term and long-term development goals aligned with current capabilities. Supports and coaches the team in continued learning and improving capabilities. • Looks to improve processes, structures, and knowledge within the team. Leads in analyzing current states, delivers strong recommendations, and able to execute to bring moderately complex solutions to completion. • Applies understanding of internal/external challenges to contribute to the team's vision and maintains a focus on work in accomplishing operational goals. • Evaluates complex issues through analytical thinking and previous experience to consider short and long-term implications and interdependencies and guides others when enough analysis has been completed in giving recommendations/solutions.
