<b>Collaborate with dynamic, cross-functional and international teams</b><br />
<br />
As Director of Global Government Affairs, you will serve as our primary liaison to UK policymakers. You will collaborate within a diverse global government affairs team to protect and advance our interests across all regions, product companies and functions. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our position in the future of energy.<br />
<br />
As Director of Global Government Affairs, you will be responsible for:</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Leading our UK government affairs through serving as the primary point of contact for UK and Scottish governments and foreign governments domiciled in London</li>
<li>Identifying, tracking and effectively communicating public policy developments to the business to formulate practical recommendations for the company&
39;s response</li>
<li>Positioning our company as an integral partner of Energy Transition through UK and EU climate policies, funding and participation in key collaborations</li>
<li>Representing the company in key trade associations and other relevant, non-governmental organizations to best position us in the market</li>
<li>Coordinating commercial advocacy globally to help drive key deals to successful completion</li>
<li>Managing record-keeping and reporting to maintain compliance with company policy and applicable public ethics laws</li>
</ul>

To be successful in this role you will:</p>

<li>Have solid, professional expertise in government and advocacy on behalf of a company, trade association or government affairs firm</li>
<li>Have substantial experience in energy and climate policy and an existing network of meaningful, constructive government relationships</li>
<li>Display excellent communications skills, with an ability to engage with senior global leaders with poise and confidence</li>
<li>Show the ability to multi-task effectively and balance priorities in an ever changing, fast-moving, time-sensitive environment</li>
<li>Demonstrate a focus on internal stakeholder care and responsiveness, with solid interpersonal awareness</li>
<li>Be able to anticipate needs and make judgement calls within your area of expertise and responsibility</li>
<li>Display a high value for integrity, kindness and show a sense of humor</li>
<li>Be a proactive, motivated self-starter, maintaining discipline and focus in managing long term initiatives without close supervision</li>
