Job Summary Your job is to guide development teams through the identification and planning of current best practices in secure development. You will conduct workshops to identify areas of maturity and improvement. As a trusted advisor, you will need to understand these best practices, know how teams can benefit from these practices, and help coach them on a path to success. The position will engage with all levels of management as well as technical development teams. Job Description Core Responsibilities: Evangelize the secure development lifecycle (SDL) transformation here at Comcast Facilitate and coordinate SDL workshops and improvement planning for participating teams Build effective relationships with stakeholders to execute programs whose vision and roadmap supports the organization’s goals Greater awareness of application security and data privacy requirements Advocate for the guiding principles of the SDL transformation program Adoption of Enterprise Cybersecurity Standards throughout your areas of responsibility Experience working at Enterprise-scale companies Analytical aptitude, investigative and critical questioning nature; data-driven decision-making skills Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with technical staff at multiple levels and facilitate team interactions Understanding of a Software Developer’s point of view Experience in Cybersecurity (Secure Development, Audit, Compliance, etc.) WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT A cool and casual work environment where you will sharpen and showcase your skills within a team focused on beating cyber criminals A place that values results and teamwork, mentors our people, and supports individuals as they pave their own way to success A culture of continuous learning and innovation with formal and informal learning and growth opportunities WHAT WE REQUIRE Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business, technical, or analytical field 5+ years of relevant work experience, with a preference for experience working with software development teams Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices Strong written and verbal communication skills Team-first mentality Disclaimer: This information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this role.
