<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is recruiting for a Lead Commissioning Engineer to continue to work with our existing customers delivering the best solutions across a portfolio of projects. This is a full-time permanent role and will be based at one of our office locations in Aberdeen, Stockton or Glasgow UK. <br><br><b> Join a culture of innovation </b> , pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients. <br><br><b> The Role: </b><br><br><b> Responsibilities of the role include: </b><br><ul><li> Provide support to the Commissioning Manager to implement business strategy and policies for safe and efficient operational delivery for Consulting's Commissioning and Completions projects </li><li> Accountable for the safe and timely preparation and execution of single or multiple small project commissioning work scopes, in adherence with project & Wood HSEQ safety targets, procedures and practices </li><li> Accountable for ensuring all multi-discipline commissioning workscope is carried out in accordance with project & Wood commissioning specifications, standards and procedures </li><li> Accountable for developing the project commissioning strategy and approving commissioning procedures </li><li> Accountable for ensuring all commissioning workscope is carried out in accordance with project schedules and budget </li><li> To play an active role in ensuring that all project HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded </li><li> To process safe completion of multi-discipline commissioning activities in line with the project schedule and milestones in a consistent and timely manner </li><li> To assist in developing & maintenance of a single or multiple small project budgets through diligence and utilisation of efficient and working practices </li></ul><br><br><b> Our Clients and Projects </b> <br><br><b> It's a future for all of us </b> . So even if you feel you don't have everything listed, but feel you have some of the experience, knowledge or skills to help us unlock solutions to the world's most critical challenges....do apply. <br><br><b> Qualifications </b> <br><ul><li> HNC / HND (or equivalent) in suitable Engineering subject </li><li> Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering related background an advantage <ul><li> IT Literate (Excel / Word / PowerPoint etc) </li><li> Conversant with Project Management Systems </li></ul></li></ul><br><b> Knowledge, Skills and Experience: </b><br><ul><li> Demonstrable experience in similar role, with a proven background of delivery </li><li> Strong multidiscipline experience in system commissioning, start-up and operations </li><li> Experienced in planning and coordinating system commissioning activities </li><li> Experienced in the management of system commissioning personnel / team </li><li> Extensive knowledge of HSEQ safe working practices / procedures </li><li> Experienced in the development and coaching of team members </li><li> Ability to interface and interact with Client Representatives at all levels </li><li> Conversant with TRM / Audit process </li><li> Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality </li><li> Flexible - able to comply / adapt to company / client requirements </li><li> Fully conversant with the completions and commissioning process </li><li> Ability to interpret project procedures, standards, specifications and drawings including PFD's / P&ID's / SLD's / C&E's etc </li><li> Ability to produce system commissioning strategy documents and review / approve commissioning procedures </li><li> Familiar with national / international industry legislation, standards and specifications </li><li> Good level of understanding of construction / commissioning processes </li><li> Good organisational and scheduling skills </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
