Senior Product Manager - SD WAN - Opportunity for Working Remotely

The work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?   Identify market trends and direction Work closely with customers and partners and understand requirements Define product requirements and engage with engineering to drive execution Be the voice of VMware and evangelize the product to potential customers. Participate in defining and executing strategic technology partnerships Document detailed descriptions of use cases, workflows, and deployment scenarios. Partner with the technical marketing teams to brief and train the sales force Work with UX on developing mock-ups of GUIs as input for the development  Intellectually curious, self-starter, and fast learner. Passionate about learning; specifically, interested in marketing best practices and trends Success Factors Strong Technical background, with experience in WAN/SD-WAN and Networking technologies Must be well versed in Virtualization and cloud technologies Experience in working with Telcos/Service Providers Proven record of accomplishment of delivering products from conception to launch Proven ability to work across cross functional teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority Should have at least 10 years of industry experience and 3+ years of product management experience. Prior experience in engineering, technical marketing, or product marketing is also useful. Deep understanding in global internet architecture and design (Public Peering, Direct Peering, and Internet Exchanges)  is a plus What does leadership look like for this role?
