Masergy is a recent Comcast Business acquisition that focuses on serving Midmarket and Enterprise customers with a portfolio of managed network, managed voice, and managed security solutions. Masergy is based in Plano Texas. Comcast is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Masergy organization. The BA will be responsible for formulating and defining systems and objectives based on a good understanding of applicable business systems. They will devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity, limitations, operating time and form of desired results. The Senior BA integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities to achieve the desired outcome and solution. It is true that this role acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment and very well may lead teams or projects and share their expertise and knowledge. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: A Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills Collaborates with stakeholders to define the scope of a project and break it down into minimally viable deliverables Influences decision making and problem solving across projects, and teams Works with developers to clarify requirements and keep them on course Serves as a trusted resource and liaison to stakeholders and technical team Create and manage the business process documentation for current-state and future-state, including how-to documents and workflow processes (or customer facing documentation) Provides mock-ups, flowchart processes/screens, writes use-cases, test-cases, and test acceptance criteria Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and finding Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users Managing competing resources and priorities Supports the testing team and business users in validating that the programs meet the requirements Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects Other duties as assigned Skills, Abilities and Knowledge: Able to understand and solve diverse, complex and crucial business and technical problems/requirements Meet deadlines, communicate delays and clarify ambiguities Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts.
