We are looking for a highly motivated hands-on Technical Business Analyst who will be responsible for facilitating the successful on-time, high quality delivery of various product development requirements collaborating with and supporting development teams and business partners. Proactively communicate and interview with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional project requirements. Apply strong analytic and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into applications and operational requirements. Carefully evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and decompose the high-level business information into finite technical details which will be written in the Requirements and Specifications document Job Description Core Responsibilities Act as a Product Owner and provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project, create requirements for the systems/applications that are being supported. Work with Product Manager to manage, maintain and prioritize the product feature backlog. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Works with Software Developers to support design and development as required. Prepares detailed functional specifications from which programs will be written. Interacts with end users to gather requirements and scope of effort. Performs analysis of user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Identifies and assesses probable interactions of related systems and predicts impact of a change in assigned system. Maintains a strong working knowledge of system interaction to ensure success in overall architectural solution. Possess Strong data analysis skills with the ability to collect, organize & analyze the data and be able to disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Functions as a liaison between the client, community, and internal Software Engineers and/or external software vendors to develop system solutions to processing systems or business problems. Ensures data quality and integrity across data-specific application implementations. Supports the testing team and business users in validating that the programs meet the requirements. Participates in unit, integration, and test procedures. Compares test results against requirements to validate that coding is accurate. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education Level Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Field of Study Information Sciences, Technology Years of Experience Generally requires 5-8 years related experience Additional Requirements Proficient in Microsoft office – Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Outlook Strong data analysis skills. Product Owner experience in an Agile/SAFe environment preferred. Experience working with Big Data preferred. Strong ability to adapt information found through analysis of data to various target audience groups, from High Level Leadership to Front Line Employees. Ability to effectively build rapport with several cross functional groups within the organization. Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Possesses good listening skills. Knowledge of general business operations. Self-Motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision. Relevant Work Experience 5-7 Years Salary: National Pay Range: $64,530.89 USD-$151,244.28 USD Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
