<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"> <p>I am excited to be working with a fantastic Educational organisation is search of an interim Management Account for 3 to 6 months on a 3 or 4 day per week basis (temp or FTC), covering the permanent recruitment period at an education institution. <br /> <br />As Management Accountant your role will be to provide a professional, accurate and timely accounting service in respect to all management and statutory reporting. <br />Provide the necessary support to the Head of Finance/CEO and the Finance team to enable the department to manage and administer the finances of the organisation effectively. <br /> <br />MAIN DUTIES <br />Management and Statutory reporting: <br />Prepare monthly management accounts. <br />Reconcile Balance sheet accounts monthly including accruals and prepayments. <br />Prepare all statutory reports including Quarterly VAT Returns, Companies House, and Charities Commission Annual Returns, etc. <br />Support the Head of Finance and Compliance to prepare the Annual accounts for Audit. <br />Reconcile the bank accounts monthly. <br />Prepare weekly sales and analysis report. <br /> <br />EXPERIENCE <br />Experience of preparing budgets, forecasts and cashflows. <br />Proficiency in the use of an accounting software <br />Previous experience of working in Finance department. <br />Experience of customer service and encouraging financial literacy <br />Experience of developing and maintaining effective systems for collecting, collating, and reporting information. <br />Experience of payroll (desirable but not essential). <br /> <br /> <br />KNOWLEDGE <br />Regulatory requirements and best practice guidance relating to: <br />Accounting and Finance <br />HMRC and Charities Act <br />Understanding and experience of taxation including VAT and PAYE tax /compliance <br />Payroll and Pension compliance <br /> <br />EDUCATION/TRAINING <br />Part qualified ACCA or a relevant professional qualification. <br />Relevant experience and qualification in Accounting and Finance <br /> <br />If you have the above skills and experience and are immediately available, please apply online today!</p>
