External Funding & Technology Development Engineer

To continue strengthening the external funding activities and the cooperation with research institutes & Universities for technology development, the selected candidate will act as focal point in managing multiyear funded projects, coordinating internal and external partners. The successful candidate should have a genuine interest in technology and is flexible to adapt to a global, challenging and dynamic environment. She/He will be required to represent IET at critical meetings and contribute through well-articulated briefings to institutional subjects & internal audiences. She/He will support the execution related to innovation network, research projects potential funding proposals, projects execution such to achieve goals and objectives in the following areas:<br><ul><li>Coordinate proposal preparation (tech, time and cost), by working with all the involved functions and managing relationships with internal and external entities, lead gates for approval.</li><li>Manage a portfolio of funded projects, ensuring that project goals and timelines are met, and that project reports are delivered on time and to a high standard.</li><li>Manage project execution, including checking costs eligibility and documentation for technical and administrative audits, as well as analyzing and implementing contracts and obligations</li><li>Ensure that all projects are executed in accordance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, and that funding is properly accounted for and reported.</li><li>Monitor and report on project performance, including tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing regular performance reports.</li><li>Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders, including research teams and business units, as well as external stakeholders, such as funding agencies and partners.</li><li>Manage data analysis to define strategies to be implemented in defining the research network and potential partners for collaborations.</li><li>Support University scouting for technology development.</li></ul><br><b> Qualifications/Requirements </b><br><ul><li>Master of Science in Engineering or other technical disciplines from an accredited university or college.</li><li>Experience in managing and executing funded research projects, including proposal writing and project management.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop and maintain partnerships with funding agencies and research institutions.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate funding opportunities and develop strategies to maximize their potential.</li><li>Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as a thorough understanding of the funding landscape in the relevant field.</li></ul><br><b>Desired Characteristics</b><br><ul><li>PhD from an accredited university</li><li>Learning Agility: Learns quickly when facing new problems, enjoy the challenge</li><li>Familiarity with a variety of engineering areas</li><li>IPMA certified or equivalent </li><li>Familiarity with Intellectual Property management</li></ul><br><br><b>About Us:</b><br> We are an energy technology company that provides solutions to energy and industrial customers worldwide.
