<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p><b><b>What the Team does</b></b><br />The Process Assurance &amp; Compliance team sits within the Service Management &amp; Governance team of Service Optimisation within Integrated Services. As a 2nd line of defence function, the team is focused on understanding &amp; assessing the risk landscape and working with 1st and 3rd line of defence to provide Leadership on a view of the assurance over controls being relied on. The processes of the team include controls review, process review &amp; assurance, systems assurance, education &amp; awareness campaigns, global attestations and audit preparedness &amp; outcome management. </p><p><br /><b><b>What a Process Assurance &amp; Compliance Senior Associate does</b></b><br />The Process Assurance &amp; Compliance Senior Associate will be expected to work closely with the Compliance Managers as well as the team lead on specific activities which will give a clear indication of deliverables, learning outcomes and contribution to the strategic objectives of the team. There is also the expectation that the Process Assurance &amp; Compliance Senior Associate will lead and work with the Associates within the team to deliver to the strategic objectives as the team grows and evolves.<br />It would be preferable for the candidate to have experience in managing risks and working on technology compliance programs, experience with at least one of the IT/security control frameworks (e.g. SOX, SOC 2, ISO, NIST, COSO, COBIT, etc.), familiarity with common compliance standards (SOX, SOC2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, COSO, COBIT, NIST, and/or ISO 27001.) and experience working directly with internal or external auditors for at least one of the listed standards as a process or systems stakeholder or in an IT operations capacity</p><p><br /><b><b>Working in an Enablement role</b></b></p><ul><li>Strengthening the current compliance framework by using, developing and leveraging automated reports for the purpose of verifying compliance</li><li>Providing independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness and quality of processes and controls</li><li>Ability to interpret compliance and risk requirements and translate them into practical operational processes </li><li>Make broad recommendations on improving compliance related processes and/or procedures as it pertains to the IS and Identify opportunities for ITGC/security compliance control automation</li><li>Experience in interpreting and analysing data, identifying gaps and improvements</li><li>Managing Audit schedule and any internal and external audit findings</li><li>Building strong relationships across Integrated Services, Tech Central and Global IT, to improve awareness of compliance and drive improvements</li><li>Learning opportunities in the areas of IT general controls, Information Security policy requirements, process reviews, quality assessments, test of controls, IT Governance, audit preparedness &amp; outcome management.</li><li>Development of project management, stakeholder management, time management and communication skills. </li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Working with Service and Enabling Teams</b></b></p><ul><li>Process SME support- Participate in IT, ITSM and Compliance roadmap development based on customer needs</li><li>Support Service and Enabling teams to deliver services into operations and production systems are operationally reliable, available and secure inline with Information Security Policy Controls Standard and Operations Delivery Processes</li><li>Ensure Service and Enabling teams can demonstrate compliance with Information Security Policy Controls Standard and Operations Delivery Processes. Providing necessary evidence to support audit </li><li>Work with Compliance Manager to create tailored on-boarding packages for each Service and Enabling teams, ensuring compliance and assurance is built into the service delivery channels:</li><li>Delivers training for Service and Enabling teams</li><li>Delivers KPIs appropriate to each function, making  process and automation changes to ensure these are achieved</li><li>Optimise internal process and cross functional team training, by supporting Compliance manager to provide SME expertise on the compliance and desired outcomes</li><li>Customer engagement - Based on regular service reviews (COP), manage customer feedback to create and drive continual service improvement</li><li>Customer engagement - Works to capture all improvements which are added to the CSI backlog</li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Required skills<br />The Process Assurance &amp; Compliance Associate will need to demonstrate the following skills in addition to a visible appetite for learning and attention to detail:</b></b></p><ul><li>Logical reasoning &amp; problem solving</li><li>Communication &amp; stakeholder management</li><li>Time management </li><li>Planning and ability to organise activities for impact</li><li>Articulate observations and manage remediation tasks through to closure while adhering to strict deadlines</li><li>Preparation &amp; review of deliverables</li><li>Ability to support the development of  junior members of the team</li><li>Ability to challenge the status quo, whilst balancing the strategic priorities and overall customer experience.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>The skills we look for in future employees</b></b><br />All our people need to demonstrate the skills and behaviours that support us in delivering our business strategy.
