Electrical Engineer in the field of Telemetry and Communications

<ul><li>Developing advanced communication solutions based on copper and optical technologies and beyond</li><li>Responsibility for existing telemetry products as well as for new designs customized to be used in Oil & Gas subsea production</li><li>Responsibility includes telemetry roadmap planning, requirement management, design projects, investigations, feasibility- and qualification-tests</li><li>Working in an engineering team autonomously</li><li>Dealing with subcontractors delivering communication technologies</li><li>Carrying out tasks in compliance with internal guidelines as well as national and international norms and standard</li><li>Aligning and reviewing created specifications in close collaboration with customers and suppliers</li><li>Providing support with application knowledge sharing beyond the team</li></ul><br><br><b>Minimum Job Qualifications</b><br> <ul><li>A master/bachelors degree in communications engineering or similar</li><li>Providing relevant professional experience in a comparable, internationally established industrial sector applying communications technologies</li><li>Having experience in several areas of hardware/analogue design, modem preferably power line modem design, signal processing/simulation, communication protocols and its software implementation</li><li>Providing expertise in DSL or similar modems, LAN, Fiber Optical, Automation field busses, MQTT IOT, functional safety communication</li><li>A strong communication competence</li><li>A structured and solution-oriented way of working and enjoying independent assignments</li><li>Good English skills</li></ul>
