Manufacturing Quality Improvement - Senior Manager

What will you do? Implements, organizes, and leads initiatives identified in group strategic quality plans Creates ETO specific Quality strategy & execution plan to systematically improve Q performance Ensures assigned Quality Policy and Quality Management system sub- processes are defined and implemented through Quality Audits, Layered Process Audits and other assessments & audits Drives & Improves capability by competency assessment, identifying gaps, decide training content, deployment plan and leading training & on the job competency enhancement within Global ETO on quality processes and systems eg QMS, LPA, Auditing Skills, Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, Process capabilities, FTA etc. t DQAI – RPA, ePFMEA, e-Quality, CSQ Dash boards etc Actively participate in expert network of CSQ to exchange the best practices and keep abreast with the rest of the organization on quality fundamentals deployment and quality basics levels Organizes and leads quality Community of Practice meetings intended to build alignment across the division. Act as a strong bridge between the group CSQ and plant teams for accelerated deployment Alert the management on potential Quality Issues eg process, competency gaps etc (Go / No Go) for new product launches. Support achieving targeted quality performance for new products Participates in various events related to product and process quality. Applies quality tools, statistical techniques, inspections, audits, and analyses to plan, control, and improve product, process, and service quality. Leads the deployment and continuous improvement of a major division's quality initiatives and metrics and achievement of process performance goals in order to improve customer satisfaction Facilitates cross unit and cross functional teams to achieve process quality objectives to obtain the expected outcomes on a global basis. Includes the planning, coordinating, and facilitating of these activities which support the division objectives. Collaborate with peers inside Power System division / CSQ Community to monitor leading and lagging indicator to monitor Quality performance (for example Field Failure Rate, RCA Lead Time, Cost of Non Quality ) Review Non Quality Costs with Finance at division level and systematically drive improvement actions across Power System including commercial, plants, global project team and R&D Develops and provides division level performance metric reports and analysis. Includes providing support to analysis of division performance on selected metrics.. Internally escalate potential product/process quality issues and develop a solution to resolve them. Network with Global CS&Q team to ensure global corporate quality policies are deployed consistently Network outside Schneider to learn new technologies (AI & Machine Learning), best practices to be able to lead disruption inside Schneider Support achieving the vision of Global ETO to deliver Premium quality offers with highest level of quality and product safety standards What qualifications will make you successful? Bachelor’s in Mechanical /Production/Industrial/Electrical Engineering preferably with CMQ, CRE, CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt certification Solid experience of implementing Lean principles and Quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP & 8D and excellent Problem-solving capabilities. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Quality management across different domains including R&D, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and new product development Must demonstrate strategic ability, strong business acumen, and strong change leadership capabilities with excellent track record of delivering results and customer focus mindset A fluent and highly articulate communicator with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills Cross Functions Team working skills due to Matrix Organization reporting Global role with minimum 25% travel anticipated worldwide What's in it for me?
