What You Will Do Ascension Lourdes is looking for a Nurse Practitioner for the Lourdes Walk-in. Lourdes Hospital has three walk-ins, and the APP will rotate through all three walk-ins at any given time. Position Highlights: Work alongside experienced physicians and APP providers. PRN position provides versatility in work schedule. Responsibilities: Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview and examination. Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions and directs patient to follow-ups with primary care provider, specialists or other community resources. Documents delivery of health care and nursing processes. Job Requirements Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required Credential(s): • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. • Nurse Practitioner Board Certified and credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentialing Office will verify licensing. Education: • Master's degree of Nursing required. Pediatric experience is required.
