<p>Charity People are proud to be partnering with a leading charity campaigning for farm animal welfare, to help bring on board a Supporter Services Manager. Founded in 1967 by farmer Peter Roberts and his wife Anna, concerned by the growing disconnect between modern agriculture and the wellbeing of animals and the environment, the charity has now grown into a powerful global movement, campaigning with supporters for an end to the suffering and environmental destruction caused by factory farming, and achieving profound and enduring advancements in farm animal welfare.</p>
<p>The Supporter Services Manager will manage the charity's UK Supporter 'Services and Stewardship Programmes', leading a team of four to ensure high standards of communication and care for a variety of external audiences and internal stakeholders. This engagement will maintain and deepen relationships with donors, fundraisers, campaigners, and the charity's online communities, as well as loyalty to supporters. The role reports to the UK Head of Fundraising and will help the charity achieve its long-term strategy of building the movement for humane farming.</p>
<p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>Responsible for supporting the delivery of stewardship communications, handling all enquiries, processing donations, and managing fundraising fulfilment systems and processes, including external suppliers. Develop and manage Supporter Services and Stewardship budgets and KPIs.Support the UK Fundraising and wider UK team to deliver exceptional levels of engagement building strong relationships with supporters, donors, volunteer fundraisers, campaigners, local group networks and online social followers. Responsible for managing and developing the Supporter Engagement Team to ensure consistent and high standards of supporter care, setting and monitoring progress against objectives, and staff development goals, driving confidence and morale.</p>
<p>The successful candidate have a passion for, and deep understanding of, customer/supporter care. You will have a successful track record in staff management, excellent project and process management skills, a talent for effective, engaging written and verbal communication, and exceptional interpersonal skills. You will use your professional and creative skills to achieve the 'wow' factor in the charity's conversations with current and potential members of the movement to end factory farming.</p>
<p>The role is based at their international headquarters in Godalming, Surrey which is 45 minutes from London Waterloo via train and a 3-minute walk from Godalming mainline station. There is free car parking on site. All staff finish half an hour early on a Friday.</p>
