<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p><strong>Major Giving and Legacies Manager </strong></p><p>Would you like to lead major giving and legacy fundraising activity within a dynamic national charity? Do you have a track record of generating income from either major donors or legacies; or both? Are you passionate about making walking the natural choice for short everyday journeys and creating a better walking environment across the UK?</p><p>Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking, is looking for a Major Giving and Legacies Manager. </p><p><strong>Salary: £37,764-£42,758 or £41,801-£46,795 (including London weighting) Pro rata </strong><strong>Location: London Office/Hybrid/remote<br /></strong><strong>Hours: 28 to 35 hours per week</strong></p><p>This is a new role supported by trustees and senior management to lead and develop our income generating activities within these areas; laying the foundations for future growth through the design and implementation of a long-term strategy for major giving and legacy fundraising. This varied role will involve taking a data-driven approach to identifying prospects from within existing networks and segments such as supporters, regular donors and members. With Living Streets' centenary in 2029, the postholder will work with key internal stakeholders to develop our case for support and create inspiring engagement campaigns to cultivate income-generating potential. There will be scope to leverage a range of methods to engage prospects, including face-to-face events; and identified moments in the calendar, such as our National Walking Summit; in addition to e-comms.</p><p>You will have experience of developing monitoring frameworks that also support wider prospect mapping with other stakeholder networks.</p><p>You will have a strong knowledge of major donor and/or legacy engagement and emerging trends including the motivations and expectations of major donors and/or legators.</p><p>The role sits within a dynamic team and has flexibility around hours and location.</p><p>If you are an enthusiastic and motivated major donor and/or legacy fundraiser with the right skills and would like to join us, we would love to hear from you.</p><p>To apply please send your CV to Katharine who will contact you to arrange a call if you are suitable.
