êton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking an Additive Manufacturing Lead to join our team. This position can be based remotely in the following areas with 25% travel: North Carolina, South Carolina, El Paso, TX or Waukesha, WI. Position Overview: The Additive Manufacturing Lead will be the primary SME for Additive Manufacturing across the Electrical Sector, Americas (ES-A) region. In this role, the selected candidate will provide technical expertise and leadership to fully leverage the potential of Additive Manufacturing technology to drive innovation and improve our manufacturing operations. In this function you will: Develop and continuously improve understanding of the advantages and applicability of Additive Manufacturing technology to various manufacturing use cases. Lead deployment of Additive Manufacturing technologies across ES-A divisions. Establish standard work for business case development and implementation of Additive Manufacturing. Support the various divisions with development of internal Additive Manufacturing resources. Lead ES-A Additive manufacturing Council. Deliver Additive Manufacturing savings per the i4.0 PP targets. Work with other Additive Manufacturing leaders throughout Eaton to develop ES-A strategic roadmap for deployment of Additive Manufacturing Technology. Help to identify and train Additive Manufacturing Champions for each site. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution Six Sigma Green Belt Bi-lingual, English and Spanish is a plus Position Criteria: 3D Modeling Design for Additive Manufacturing Experience with multiple 3D printing technologies e.g. Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), MultiJet Fusion (MJF), Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), Bound Metal Deposition (BMD) etc. Experience with Manufacturing Engineering Process Design Knowledge of GD&T Ability to reverse Engineer components leveraging the advantages of Additive technologies. Experience with business case development Ability to inspire and motive diverse teams Effective communicator within environments ranging from shop floor kaizen teams, to operations leadership.
