LM442: Sr HR Representative

To perform duties necessary to deliver Human Resources services within a specific department or geographical area. To plan, communicate, implement, and control activities to ensure maximum efficiency, cost effectiveness, and adherence to overall corporate philosophy and policy procedures._x000D_ _x000D_ Helps to deter unionization through effective employee relations skills and assists line management in the maintenance of effective lines of communication. Ensures delivery of compensation and benefit programs in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assists management in recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt employees and in the administration of Human Resources paperwork. Ensures that Human Resources administration policies, programs, and procedures for compensation, benefits, and organization planning are communicated and administered. Ensures delivery of corporate, policies, practices, and programs in an assigned area by identifying under-utilization and potential problems; establishes community recruiting resources; investigates and resolves complaints and represents the company at fact finding proceedings. Provides consulting to management on a full range of Human Resources programs including disciplinary action and performance improvement; monitors and advises line/staff management concerning safety issues and violations. Investigates internal complaints, recommends courses of action. and ensures appropriate follow-up action in compliance with corporate guarantee of fair treatment
