Project Engineer

Petroplan is seeking to hire Project Engineer for one of its clients<br><br><b> Job Requirement </b><br> Min. 7 Years' Experience) and experience with process skids in to Assist Fabrication Manager in Sohar. Please find job description below:<br><br><b>Role Objective</b><br> <ul> <li>To assist the Skid Fabrication & Assembly manager with the planning and managing of the fabrication, assembly, and testing stages of COMPANY'S packages within the Workshop. This includes scheduling and determining the overall execution strategy per Project to closely monitor and effectively complete all fabrication activities in the workshop within the agreed project timelines and guidelines set out by the company.</li> </ul> <br><br> <b>Duties & Responsibilities</b><br> <ul> <li>Review COMPANY'S standards and client specifications.</li> <li>Review/prepare fabrication/schedules and manpower loading plans with the workshop.</li> <li>Liaison with client personnel including third party inspectors and expeditors.</li> <li>Close coordination with Engineering, Production and Quality teams for on-time delivery.</li> <li>Ensure all works comply with COMPANY'S and Client requirements.</li> <li>Preparation of weekly progress reports for skid fabrication and assembly status.</li> <li>Close monitoring of planned vs actual progress for skid fabrication and assembly activities.</li> <li>Attend weekly progress meetings with Clients and Suppliers.</li> <li>Review of COMPANY'S fabrication drawings and Supplier's fabrication procedures.</li> <li>Review of bulk material MTO's against AFC drawings and report shortages.</li> <li>Review of tagged items against AFC drawings and report shortages.</li> <li>Assist with incoming receiving inspections of COMPANY'S free issue materials and report shortages.</li> <li>Coordination with COMPANY'S sub-suppliers and sub-contractors.</li> <li>Preparation of shipping documents and coordination with fcompany'sght forwarder at the time of dispatch.</li> </ul> <br><b>About Petroplan</b><br> <br>Petroplan is the trusted, specialist global Talent Solutions partner of choice for employers and professionals in the Energy sector.
