Communications and Engagement Specialist -Internship

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is recruiting for a newly graduate, to join our Projects, Process & Chemicals Team in Milan as <b>Communications and Engagement Intern</b>. <br><br> The person supports the<b> local & regional communications</b> and <b>engagement strategy</b> through the delivery of <b>internal communications plans</b> and campaigns that engage, inform and inspire Wood employees. Working as part of a local & regional team, the role holder will manage the delivery of creative and timely communication campaigns and content that supports Wood's strategy, business plans & culture through increasing employee engagement, understanding and awareness. <br><br> We offer a 6 months internship contract + reimboursement + internal canteen. <br><br><b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES </b> <br><ul><li> Works with the Employee Communications & Engagement Director and with regional and local operations to manage internal communications campaigns that support Wood's strategy, business plans and culture </li><li> Collaborates with team members in corporate communications & marketing to establish consistent messaging & approaches, ensuring culture and employee experience is publicized externally </li><li> Delivers engaging campaigns and content that support the internal communications plans and business objectives </li><li> Delivers impactful, new internal communications campaigns that cut through the noise and drive employee engagement </li><li> Delivers on functional projects in support of culture and inclusion strategy </li><li> Supports the successful planning and delivery of global internal communications plans and/or BU communications plans working in partnership with global and BU marcomms peers. </li><li> Maintains and analyses local & regional internal communications channels </li><li> Supports Wood's culture and drives employee brand ambassadors through content development and messaging </li><li> Identifies and develops compelling, relevant stories from around the business </li><li> Supports senior leaders to be inspiring communicators and leads the delivery of timely and engaging employee engagement activities </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b>Minimum Qualifications: </b> <br><ul><li> University degree or equivalent in a communications or related field </li></ul><br> <b>Knowledge of: </b> <br><ul><li> Communication methods and channels relevant to a large, complex organization </li></ul><br> <b>Experience of: </b> <br><ul><li> Effective use of interpersonal & consulting skills </li></ul><br> <b>Personal Attributes: </b> <br><ul><li> Enthusiasm, can do attitude and energy are must have qualities. </li><li> Keen eye for attention to detail </li><li> Good organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and take responsibility for project delivery </li><li> Good team player </li><li> Highly creative thinker and problem solver </li><li> Excellent presenter and influencer </li><li> Highly organised, capable of time and priority management, and ability to work under pressure </li><li> Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with large section of the business </li></ul><br> <b>Ability to: </b> <br><ul><li> Foster trusted, open and honest relationships within the business </li><li> Ensure the integrity of the information distributed </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
