Director Finance – Global Partnerships

Who are we hiring? · Lead FP&A for Global Partnerships which includes Knicks, Rangers, MSG Arena, MSG Live, Marquee Events and Radio City Christmas Show · Prepare total Global Partnership revenue & expense budget for the key business areas in conjunction with the sales team & MSG Sports leadership · Prepare monthly forecast packages for the businesses · Prepare revenue recognition process, including contract and deal P&L analysis and work closely with accounting department · Assist in the tracking and reconciliation of fulfillment / activation costs for Global Partnerships by business area (Knicks, Rangers, Live, Radio City Christmas Show, Arena Signage, etc) · Serve as key FP&A contact for MSGE on all Partnership related activities for core MSG Entertainment (including forecasts, deal analysis, and intercompany agreements) What will you do? · Lead FP&A processes surrounding revenue recognition and G&A management (labor & non-labor) for Global Partnerships which supports both MSGS & MSGE · Lead preparation of annual budget, forecasts, and monthly outlooks for Suites & Premium Hospitality (revenues and expenses) and providing necessary information to MSGS & MSGE · Prepare NHL & NBA required submissions for Global Partnerships · Partner with accounting team in the overall month-end close process for MSG Sports and MSG Entertainment. Additionally, assist with the preparation of all quarterly and year-end revenue recognition schedules relative to the Financial Reporting area, Deloitte, and Internal Audit. · Collaborate with Data & Analytics team to continually enhance the Globale Partnerships reporting process as well as overall operations. · Ad hoc projects as assigned. · Oversees this department, approximately 2 people (1 Manager and 1 Analyst) What do you need to succeed? · Minimum 10+ years of accounting or FP&A experience (public and/or private), with at least 8 years of FP&A experience required. · Communication Skills – must present themselves in a professional manner and communicate regularly with executives in multiple divisions. · Ability to multitask and manage timelines/deliverables of multiple projects. · Ability to work independently to accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision. · Advanced skills in Excel are required. · Skills in computer systems used by MSG, i.e., Oracle, Hyperion & Tableau preferred.
