Manager Finance - Suites

Who are we hiring? The Manager Finance supports all financial reporting, planning and analysis for MSG Suites Revenue and associated reporting for both MSG Sports and MSG Entertainment. The Manager Finance handles revenue analysis and financial support for licenses, single event sales and premium products. Expense analysis includes all G&A operating expenses and commission analysis and calculations. Assist in the preparation of various league reporting requirements for the NBA, NHL, AHL and G-League. What will you do? · Assist in managing revenue recognition/contract tracking/fulfillment costs of all MSG Suites & Premium Hospitality products. · Prepare and issue flash data post-event to provide to business leaders. · Assist in preparation of annual budget, forecasts, and monthly outlooks for Suites & Premium Hospitality (revenues and expenses) · Prepare quarterly analysis for commission calculations for payment, working closely with the Suites & Ticketing leaders · Manage compensation model for Suites Staff, inclusive of commission modeling and TSA charges between MSGS & MSGE · Assist in the overall month end close process for MSG Sports · Assist in completion of all NBA, NHL, G-League and AHL financial reporting packages and surveys. · Special projects as assigned · Oversees this department, approximately 1 people (Sr Analyst) What do you need to succeed? · 6+ years experience and a Bachelor’s degree required (in Finance/Accounting preferred), CPA strongly preferred. · Advanced analytical, accounting and financial skills are required. · Experience in monthly analysis reporting and monthly closes. · Must have advanced Excel skills, with experience in TM1, Archtics, and TM Host applications preferred. · Experience using financial reporting systems (Oracle) and / or financial planning systems (Hyperion) · BS, BA or related degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience · Strong financial modeling skills in Excel and in depth understanding of financial systems Why is MSG for me?
