<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for a <b>Junior Document Control Specialist</b> to work in our St. John's office, on large-scale brownfield offshore oil and gas projects. If you have a successful track record and thrive on challenges in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you! <br><br>Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: <br><ul><li> Supporting engineering projects through the management of project documentation </li><li> Ensuring that the document control function is being performed in accordance with corporate procedures and project requirements in a timely and efficient manner </li><li> Ensuring project schedules and client approved budgets are managed and adhered to </li><li> Communicating effectively with the appropriate engineering disciplines including providing ongoing updates on status of work </li><li> Ensuring required filing and archiving of technical documents is done in a timely manner </li><li> Storing, securing, revising, retrieving, distributing, and archiving electronic documents </li><li> Adhering to all HSEQ requirements within Document Control in accordance with Wood procedures and management systems </li><li> Assist with processing technical documentation for the core projects </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>Candidates should possess the following qualifications: <br><ul><li> New graduates are welcome to apply </li><li> Diploma from a post-secondary institution </li><li> related experience in a fast-paced office environment (Oil and Gas industry experience is an asset) </li><li> Any equivalent combination of experience and / or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may also be considered </li><li> Ability to work independently, as well as within a team </li><li> Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal </li><li> Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail </li><li> Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines </li><li> Familiarization with Document Management systems </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
