<br />
<strong>The Role:</strong><br />
As <strong>Head of Merchandise Planning & Operations, </strong>you will have ownership of the demand planning, forecasting, and optimisation of stock flow throughout the business across the UK and global markets.<br />
Your responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the critical path of stock flow in and out of the business to maximise sales and ensure annual budgets are met</li>
<li>Create and present weekly stock and sales reports to the Company Directors and Sales Team</li>
<li>Leading and driving the merchandising and demand planning function</li>
<li>Ownership of stock inventory and forecasts for UK and EU warehouses</li>
<li>Creating sales forecasts for all markets by generating and analysing data, looking at historical sales, the market, current trends etc. to inform decision making</li>
<li>Working closely and collaboratively with Sales, Product and Marketing teams, managing inventory and stock flow, paying close attention to core products, best sellers, and slow-moving stock</li>
<li>Looking at the forecasting process, continually striving to improve processes and efficiencies by analysing performance and accuracy</li>
<li>Responsible for the weekly stock and purchasing report presenting to the director for sign-off</li>
<li>Working closely with contracted warehouses in the UK and Spain to ensure stock is flowing correctly through the business and ensuring that freight costs are minimised and managed accordingly</li>
<li>Liaising with suppliers to ensure lead times are communicated accurately to ensure optimum stock flow through the business</li>
<li>Gatekeeper and owner of all customer stock requirements, working with the sales team on priority stock, shortages, and large volume orders to support seasonal launches</li>
<li>Monitoring, reporting, and managing slow moving and discontinued lines, advising on processes and ideas to minimise costs</li>
<li>Leading ad driving Merchandising meetings, presenting sales & stock data to the senior management team and wider business as required</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Excellent experience within a Head of Merchandising role dealing with volume accounts</li>
<li>Luxury & FMGC experience ideal</li>
<li>Direct factory experience working with global suppliers</li>
<li>Excellent numerical skills, highly commercial with a background working with consumer goods</li>
<li>Experience of managing stock across multiple global locations (UK, Europe & US in particular)</li>
<li>Experience managing the WISSI and OTB process, with strong Excel skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of Xero Accounting Systems</li>
<li>Proactive, with the ability to foresee problems and overcome these confidently and effectively</li>
<li>Desire to work for a group of luxury consumer brands as part pf a great team!</li>
</ul>
