Digital Transformation Lead

Wood is looking for an experienced Engineer to work in its UK Digital Transformation &amp; Innovation (DTI) group which deploys cutting-edge digital solutions to market, with focus on the integration of third party and partner focused solutions in predominately energy and chemical sectors.<br />

<b>The Role </b><br />
<br />
The ideal candidate has a broad geographical and multi sector experience working with multiple stakeholders to achieve results. The role requires being able to rapidly engage with clients to understand their problems and, through client presentation and software demonstration, show how with our integration, domain expertise and partner solutions, the DTI group can solve these problems and provide value.<br />
<br />
The individual will lead digital transformation projects, workshops, strategy, advisory and implementation managing the interfaces with different stakeholders to ensure consistent value is delivered for clients. The individual will also be expected to provide technical sales support to the Business Development group in the areas of digital twin, solution architecture, AI and process optimisation.<br />
<br />
The ideal candidate should have previous experience with delivering digital solutions, preferably for multiple industries and numerous geographic regions and in the application of AI/ML for process optimisation. In depth knowledge of the market, simulation techniques and packages as well as data science optimisation techniques is desired. The ability to communicate with potential customers regarding their assets/systems and how our services/solutions, combined with partner solutions, would deliver value to them, is an essential requirement of this role.<br />

<li>Driving EMEA business growth in line with targets set for the Digital Transformation &amp; Innovation group in Intelligent Operations and associated applications and services</li>
<li>Run Digital Strategy workshops, Digital transformation advisory and digital implementation projects</li>
<li>Act as interface between different stakeholders (client, partner, Wood) in digital transformation projects</li>
<li>Working closely with associated managers across Digital Consulting</li>
<li>Engaging with key stakeholders across Wood (Project, Operations and Consulting BUs) and Partners.</li>
<li>Lead local technical sales and marketing efforts, for example, client meetings, demonstrations, conferences, in conjunction with the Business Development group</li>
<li>Provide leadership to proposal development by supporting proposal development and costing activities</li>
<li>Technical and business representation of relevant solutions in conferences and/or lead Product webinars, Industry Panels, whitepapers, and publication s</li>

<p><b>Skills / Qualifications </b><br />

<b>Expected:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Previous experience in similar role leading a team delivering digital solutions</li>
<li>Identifying, defining, and solving client problems</li>
<li>Experience using applied AI for optimisation</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Proposal / projects costing experience</li>
<li>Strong understanding of process optimisation, dynamics systems, relevant technologies and digital twin solution architectures</li>
<li>Understanding of Data Science techniques and their applicability to control and optimisation scope</li>
<li>inimum degree-level qualification in engineering, science or mathematics</li>
</ul>
