Subsea Project Engineer

Our oil &amp; gas operator client is recruiting for a Subsea Project Engineer on a 12 month PAYE contract basis based in Aberdeen</p>

The Subsea Project Engineer will initially be located in the Aberdeen Office, with an expectation to go offshore or on site when required. Their scope of work is relevant to all project delivery streams (Subsurface, Wells, Subsea and FPSO) as well as the existing and future Asset teams. Therefore, they will be responsible for the management of multiple interfaces. To be successful they must collaborate effectively with all stakeholders and establish common goals across these teams and locations. </p><p> </p>

<b>Specific responsibilities for the Subsea Project Engineer will include but not be limited to:</b></p>

1. Demonstrate Visible HSSE Leadership and Champion Goal Zero, within Subsea Delivery Team and with contractors. <br />2. Work effectively in a team towards achieving Project objectives, with collaborative and respectful behaviours. <br />3. Management of any internal design studies or 3rd party studies required (i.e. activities outwith main contracts). <br />4. Day to day interfacing between Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Installation parties. <br />5. Work with Subsea Engineering &amp; Procurement Lead to ensure interfaces are clearly defined and managed between Subsea EPCI contractor and Client Provided Item suppliers (i.e. Aker, etc.) <br />6. Attendance at project interface meetings as required, <br />7. Attendance at integrated planning meetings to represent the Subsea Delivery Team, <br />8. Leading the risk identification and management process for own scopes (administered by Project Coordinator). <br />9. Ensure that all work is adequately documented and recorded ready for handover to the Asset. <br />10. Organise all relevant permitting in order to execute the infill well scope. Our client a Subsea permits team who can assist in this regard.</p><p> </p>
<p>
<b>Skills and Requirements</b> <br /><br />HSSE and Quality Leadership, including a demonstrable commitment to HSSE and quality. <br />Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in the Oil &amp; Gas industry with direct experience of <br />Project Execution/Delivery. <br />Experience of Project Completion and Handover. <br />Experience with pipeline pre-commissioning activities, including Subsea and Wells <br />Experience of working with UK Regulatory Authorities (BEIS, Health and Safety Executive)with respect to Permits.</p>
